The crucifixion of Jesus 
represents the second act in 
God's opera of mankind redemption. 
   In spite of the death which is 
embraced,  this  amazing  self 
sacrifice act is the only way to 
trick the very death  itself, to 
take  it  in  a  place  where no 
existence  is designed for it... 
...The place of everlastingness,
the realm of LIFE...
  
   In this scene, on the left 
Mother of Jesus mourns Her son, 
while on the right stands quiet
the youngest of Jesus'disciple, 
Saint John the Evanghelist. 
   On the top stands Jesus Christ,
as Pantocreator, the symbol of His
triumph over death and our Hope for
ethernal love and rightness.
